TODAYS TRADES BACK IN THE GREEN!

Welcome to THEFREEDOMGRIND all about the Stock Market and Day Trading! Todays trades went very well with a few small wins and one pretty decent trade. The day started off without any real momentum and essentially stayed that way throughout most of the morning.

My first trade was on ticker CNET! I was a bit disappointed at the open with this one as I have seen this stock’s potential in past trading sessions. It sold off right at the open not giving me any long position opportunity. I ended up instead buying the bottom of the first dip, entering the position at $2.63 cents with 2,000 shares. I was able to flatten the position after a small bounce back up to $2.68 cents. I made $80 dollars off of this trade. See the chart below.

I should have held a little bit longer on this one!!

The second trade I took was on TROV, another familiar stock! This trade was very similar to the first with the exception that I bought a Break of resistance on the way back out of a dip with a quick 2,000 share scalp. My entry price was $4.62 cents and my exit fill was at $4.67 cents. I earned a small profit of $100 dollars on this trade! See the trade below!!

This is why I don’t hold long LOL!!

JMU was the next ticker I focused on for a trade. I bought into this stock on the break of $2.50 cent with 2,000 shares. I got filled at $2.53 and sold quickly after at $2.50 for a small loss of $-60 bucks. No biggie!!! The second green candle on the 5 min chart, after breaking through the @2.50 area squeezed back down into the mid 2.40’s which allowed me to buy back in cheaper. I got filled at $2.47 with 2k shares. I switched to the 1 min chart to watch the pullback closely. After the second red candle appeared on the 1 min chart I decided to place a stop loss order at $2.34 cents. The trade started to get momentum and pushed up from the bull flag pattern allowing me to flatten out of my position at $2.55 for a profit of $160 dollars. Whew turned the red into green! Check out the trade below.

At this point I was accomplished and was going to end the day, until a fellow FREEDOMGRIND team member posted a stock ticker in the chat, that ticker was VTL. I do not typically trade stocks that are under a dollar, but this stock looked promising! I ended up buying in with 10,000 shares at around .44 cents! I flattened my position at around $.50 cent area! My initial profit was around $650 dollars. I then placed a second trade of 10k shares at $.48 cents and flattened that position shortly after the price action broke $.50 cent area leaving me with a profit of over $800 dollars. Nice way to finish the trading day and the week! See the trades below!

Hope you all enjoy the trading recaps!!! I wish everyone a great weekend!
