Today really didn’t go well. The one thing that a trader must do is focus, and trade their plan! This would be an instance of reflection into my trading today where I did none of those. I am normally pretty efficient at trading to the short side, but every trader feels the sting at some point.

Almost all of my bad trading days come from going outside of my trading plan! This morning, I started off trading very well, even though the selling came in really fast and caught me off guard. I started to scalp the rapid pullbacks putting me in the profit right off the morning open. Following the trend, I ended up jumping out of a few positions in the RED as the volatility startied churning. Instead of being patient as usual to allow the trend to continue, My emotions got the better of me. This cost me a little bit of capital, It Happens! When things like this happen, it is imperative that you take notes.

The image below, is the image and notes straight from my trading journal from the morning. I would advise any trader from experienced to brand new, to take notes detailing as much as you can about your trades, and how you can avoid or fix what went right/wrong!

There it is! As a trader you have to face reality and make improvements. If you don’t, you will continue to make mistakes without any way to resolve them.

Happy trading everyone I hope many of you were prosperous. We will see how I am able to trade tomorrow so make sure you FOLLOW us here at THEFREEDOMGRIND!!!
